I Hurt Here
This child is blindfolded, his lips are sewn shut and his hands are tied. This is the helplessness of childhood. Flattened bottle caps that say, "I Hurt Here" indicate areas where the child has been attacked.

Numb
This child's head is bandaged and bleeding through from self-inflicted wounds. In his right hand is a note from his Doctor excusing him from school and a prescription for the anti-itch medication, Atarax, which causes drowsniness. In his left hand he holds an empty bottle of Serax tablets, used to treat anxiety. A pill floats in his center section, where his stomach is. The Doctor's note reads:

"To Whom It May Concern: Please excuse this student from performing, participating or paying attention in school as this student is taking Atarax to correct constant scratching of teh scalp which is a somatic expression of anxiety."

The New Kid
This child is bound with black leather strapping, unable to defend himself. Pinned to his body are notes that say things like, "Hit me," "Punch me," and "Spit on me."
