This book started its life as a 1965 text book entitled "Mathematical Statistics." It has become a notebook, scrap book, sketch book, photo album, amorphous journal. Each page has its own feeling, its own tenor: an abstract drawing, a collage from magazines/newpapers/other books, or a picture. One spread even features a page from a Hindu comic book. Some of the text book pages have been replaced by acetate pages with unrelated images or words. Scattered throughout are original poems and writings. Often, the math text shows through these images.
Tabs on the sides are labeled with letters, numbers and a small elephant from a child's card game.
